General conditions

General

Driver must be at least 21 years.
The renter must legitimize him or herself with his or hers paspoort.
The boat must have at least 2 persons.
Life jackets are available at request.
When the sloop is not return at the time as agreed, the letter has the right to charge a daytime extra and deduct this from the deposit.
The sloop has to be clean at delivery. Or pay € 35,- extra.

Cancellation

With heavy rain fall (>50% of the rental period) on the rental day. The renter receive a voucher for another day. We judge just shortly for departure if the renter has right a to get the voucher.

Deposit / Damage

The deposit is € 250,- and has to be paid cash for departure.
The renter must declare any damage that has been done to the boat as soon as possible to the tenant. And has to listen to the instructions of the tenant. The amount that costs to repair the damage will be deduct from the deposit. Costs; a scratch is € 50,- and propeller damage € 185,-.
Marina Rijnsburg has the right to deduct the damage from the deposit. If the damage costs more than the deposit than the remaining costs will be charged to the renter.
Marina Rijnsburg has the right to keep the deposit (legitimate reasons) for breeking speed limits or obsturction.
The renter has complete responsibility for damage or harm to other parties during the whole rental periode.
The tenant has the right at all time to break the rent agrement, in case the tenant thinks the renter is not cautious with the boat.
The tenent protects the renter in case of dame of third parties for which the tenant is responsible.

Conduct

The renter is cautious with using the boat and accessories.
The renter must comly the navigation rules, such like the maximum speed ( Fines are for the renter)
The renter has respect for nature, animals and the people who lives around the waters.
The renter will not throw waste overboard.
